Event tech is the friend of trade shows. The thing is, they don't get it yet.

Over the past two years it’s become obvious that virtual events now play a vital supporting role to physical ones. There’s no going back. A physical event without a virtual counterpart will feel positively exclusive in years to come. For those who can’t or do not want to travel, the digital option provides a vital alternative to physical travel.

We have all suffered our fair share of webinars and virtual meetings since the pandemic began. Virtual meetings are especially taxing, as your undivided attention is expected at all times - especially when they last more than 20 minutes or so. Webinars don’t offer interactivity, and for their organizers, they always have to build an audience from scratch.
