HOW IT WORKS
At MEDIA MEET & GREET you're more likely to target relevant new people and discover new business opportunities than you are at a trade show, where lists of attendees are not at all transparent. With our Deal Room Events platform, you can see everyone else who is attending, and, you can also follow up with them even after the event. There's a small learning curve, so on this page you can find out how it works. A few of the key points about the platform are:
After you register, you’ll be sent a link to set up your profile ONCE in DealRoom (and then it's saved for future events).
Browse attendees IN ADVANCE - and be sure to set up yours - if there is no information there, people will not be able to find you.
Pre-book your meetings. Send meeting invitations, chat, and set up your meetings before the live networking event.
Choose who you want to meet based on what they OFFER and what they SEEK, or sort using filters to find people of interest.
Set-up your AGENDA. Choose between 1:1 video meet & greets or join our featured presentations or group networking sessions during the live event.
THE PLATFORM REMAINS ACCESSIBLE TO YOU even after the event is over, 365 days a year. You can persistently log in and connect with Media Meet & Greet attendees at any time.

Additional Tips
During the registration process you´ll be asked a few on-boarding questions so people can find you. Once the platform goes live, browse the lists of participants and connect either by sending chat messages or an invitation to meet.
When logged in your closest matches will appear at the top of your list. You can favorite contacts, or turn a blind eye. Send chat using the "chat" icon.You´ll find notifications at the top right of your screen. We strongly suggest you set up your meetings in advance. Note that as from June 2021 we are using the sleek new Deal Room interface so these illustrations may look a bit different.
To send a meeting invitation, click the NAME of the person, review their profile and then click "Meet". If accepted, the invited guest will set the meeting time.
Your meeting agenda, and the controls to connect to your video meeting will appear in the right hand column during the event. Remember, each person can add a +1 guest to any meeting. Each meeting is 20 minutes long.

Not receiving mails from the system? Please check your spam filter and unblock mail from astrid.aalto@dealroomevents.com (also from @broadcastprojects.com and @ti.to - our ticketing system).
Your personal event archive: you can still access the Deal Room to review contacts, chat, and access an archive of your meeting history. Cool, huh? You have ongoing access to the event archive. You can continue to check your message notifications, even after the event, as the chat function is always live.
Pro-tip: Be sure to use a consistent email to log-in to the Deal Room. If you have visited the platform before, you can save time and retain all your profile information for the next event. And you can always edit it, too.
